Internet service was out more than it was working. Spectrum went way down hill since the takeover . Time Warner Cable was awesome. How did Spectrum mess it up so bad.

Quite possibly the worst Internet service provider ever. Throttles service for $70 a month with frequent outages on top of that. Get a different ISP.

This company is a monopoly here in Erie Pa with the only service that has unlimited monthly data usage and has good speed. But their customer service is really bad. I even visited the local store and got a business card from a Rep there. I tried to email him as he told me to and found his email was not working. Then called on the phone and got someone who could not understand or refused to get me to the Rep at the local store. What a huge waste of time. Finally he mistakenly transferred me to someone in Technical Support who was helpful and nice. He said he messaged that Rep but I still have not heard back from them. They constantly raise your rates until your paying an arm and a leg because they know they have no competition here. Another service at a different location was dropping out and had to have the modem reset all the time. I was told to replace my modem and did at my expense but it didn't solve a thing. Thankfully that seems to have been resolved after a month or so of putting up with it. That by the way is with the original modem back online. Can't wait for a competitor to come up with a challenge to this monopoly.

Spectrum uses deceptive tactics to attempt to trick you into continuing service. The tell you there will only be a $5 increase that turns into $15. When you call the billing they tell you that unless you have a video recording of the conversation at the Spectrum store they do not believe you. I suggest anyone talking to an employee at the Spectrum store to video tape the conversation to protect yourself later.
